You are the expert on you - I aim to help you find what works best for you. The first session is spent finding out whether we think we can work usefully together. My aim is to help you increase your understanding of yourself and your situation, to find new ways of looking at whatever is troubling you and to support you while you make whatever changes you may come to think are necessary for your well-being.
You can choose to work in an open-ended way, having as many (or as few) sessions as you wish, or we can agree a specific number of sessions and then review. Sometimes people find that only one or two sessions are needed, others want to work for longer. Some people like to take a break for a few weeks (or months) and then return. We will discover together what works best for you.
